Dear Readers,
January always feels like a
reset — a chance to pause,
reflect, and realign before
stepping into what’s next.
In the beauty industry
especially, the new year isn’t
just about trends or launches,
it’s about intention, growth,
and showing up with purpose.
This issue of National Beauty
Magazine celebrates brands
and practitioners who are doing
exactly that. From clinics pushing boundaries in aesthetics and wellness, to
founders building businesses with integrity, education, and community at
their core — this is an issue rooted in ambition and authenticity.
As we move into 2026, we’re seeing a powerful shift. Beauty is no longer just
about results, it’s about responsibility, trust, and longevity. Clients are more
informed, brands are more conscious, and the industry is evolving in exciting
ways. That’s something worth celebrating.
Thank you to every brand featured in this issue for trusting us with your story,
and to our readers for continuing to support independent beauty businesses
across the UK. We’re proud to be part of your journey.
Here’s to a new year, new opportunities, and another chapter of growth for
our industry.
With excitement and admiration,

18 Awards in 18 Months
What It Means to Be an Award-Winning Injector —
and the Quiet Balance Beyond the Clinic
Recognition, when it arrives, offers a rare moment of
stillness in an industry defined by momentum. Over
the past 18 months, I have been honoured with 18
industry awards — a milestone received with deep
gratitude, humility, and reflection. While these
accolades acknowledge technical precision and
refined
aesthetic
outcomes,
they
symbolise
something far more enduring: consistency, integrity,
and an unwavering commitment to both my craft
and the clients I am privileged to care for — many of
whom have become lifelong friends.
To be an award-winning injector is not defined by
titles or trophies. It is defined by responsibility,
passion,
and
the
collective
strength
of
an
exceptional team. The women I work alongside are
integral to every achievement; excellence is never a
solo pursuit, alongside the most supportive husband
and family.
What a year it has been. For me, aesthetics is not
merely a profession — it is an art form.
True recognition in this field is cultivated long
before submission deadlines or judging panels.
It is built quietly: during late evenings immersed
in
facial
anatomy,
through
continuous
professional development, meaningful peer
collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to
evidence-based practice. The aesthetic industry
evolves at pace, and excellence demands
discipline, adaptability, and humility — a
willingness to remain a student, even in
moments of success. To be entrusted with such
responsibility is a privilege I never take lightly.
Awards ceremonies serve a greater purpose
than celebration alone. They advocate for
ethical practice and elevate the standing of
medical aesthetics during a particularly fragile
period
within
our
industry.
Today,
the
landscape
is
increasingly
saturated
with
undertrained
injectors,
drawn
in
by
the
damaging myth of quick success and six-figure
incomes. This narrative is neither truthful nor
ethical.
Too often, training providers promise prosperity
after
minimal
instruction,
releasing
practitioners into an industry — and toward
vulnerable patients — with little more than a
certificate and misplaced
confidence. Seasoned professionals understand
the reality: true success is built over years of
investment, sacrifice, education, and resilience.
Progress is earned through hard graft, financial
reinvestment, and relentless commitment. When
approached
with
integrity,
the
rewards
are
profound — but never instant.
Sustainable success in aesthetics is neither fast
nor guaranteed. It requires extensive clinical
training, lifelong learning, emotional resilience, and
an unwavering duty of care. To frame this
profession primarily as a financial opportunity
undermines
its
seriousness
and
erodes
the
foundations of patient safety, clinical competence,
and ethical responsibility.
As demanding as this industry can be, success
without
balance
is
unsustainable.
For
me,
grounding life beyond the clinic is not a luxury — it
is essential.
Family is my constant. Time spent with loved ones
offers perspective and reminds me who I am
beyond my professional identity. Whether it’s
quiet moments with friends, time away in our
motorhome, or being lost in the pages of a
favourite book, these experiences replenish the
emotional energy required to care so deeply for
others.
Relaxation
is
intentional.
I
prioritise
routines that support both physical and mental
wellbeing — movement, time outdoors, and
moments of stillness where I disconnect from
devices and reconnect with myself. These rituals
allow me to return to my patients present,
focused, and inspired.
Balance is not perfection; it is boundaries. Learning
when to pause, when to decline, and when to
restore has been one of the most valuable lessons
of my career.
Beyond curated highlight reels and polished social
feeds, I am a mother of two and a wife. I am Kerry —
a playful 39-year-old with an enduring love of
travel, curiosity, and adventure. For all its
complexity, I genuinely love this industry. It allows
me to unite science, precision, and artistry in a way
that feels both purposeful and deeply fulfilling.
And yet, when the lights dim, the awards are
carefully stored away, and the heels are finally
kicked off, my most cherished ritual is disarmingly
simple. Stripping everything back — the hair, the
makeup, the gown — and returning to bed with a
perfectly brewed cup of Yorkshire tea.
In
that
moment,
success
feels
beautifully
uncomplicated. No titles. No applause. Just quiet
contentment, warmth, and the reminder that
behind every award-winning injector is a very real
individual who values balance, stillness, and
shared moments with their partner.
Sometimes,
that
is
the
most
meaningful
achievement of all — simply being Kerry, not
Wilkinson Aesthetics.
To those considering a future within medical
aesthetics: I encourage you to pursue your
ambition with integrity. Stay true to your moral
compass, invest in learning from the most
respected educators and practitioners, research
diligently, and collaborate generously. When
approached with care, patience, and purpose,
this industry offers rewards far richer than
recognition alone.
Push yourself. Refine your craft. And shine.

Exclusive Interview
W I L K I N S O N A E S T H E T I C S
1. EIGHTEEN AWARDS IN EIGHTEEN MONTHS —
WHAT DOES THAT MILESTONE REPRESENT TO
YOU PERSONALLY?
“It still feels overwhelming, and honestly, not
quite real. When clients ask how I feel about it, I
struggle to put the gratitude into words. It’s
deeply humbling to be recognised for the late
nights, the constant commitment to learning,
and even the days I’ve closed my own clinic to
support
other
practitioners
during
complications. I never did—and still don’t—do
this work for awards. I do it because I genuinely
love what I do. But this recognition reassures me
that I’m showing up in the right way, and that
the care, effort, and integrity behind the scenes
truly matter“
2. FOR YOU, WHAT TRULY DEFINES AN AWARD-
WINNING INJECTOR?
“For me, an award-winning injector is someone
who leads with integrity and humility, supported
by a truly well-rounded skill set. An aesthetic
practitioner shouldn’t be a one-trick pony; they
should have a broad, adaptable range of
techniques,
underpinned
by
a
deep
understanding of safety, anatomy, and facial
morphology. It’s about knowing when and how to
reach into that toolbox to create a bespoke,
thoughtful
plan
tailored
entirely
to
the
individual in front of you. Beyond technical skill,
they’re unapologetically authentic, inspirational
to others, and committed to being a strong
advocate for our industry.“
3. YOUR JOURNEY BEGAN IN SPECIAL FX
MAKEUP AT 16. HOW DID THAT CREATIVE
FOUNDATION SHAPE YOUR APPROACH TO
FACIAL AESTHETICS TODAY?
“Starting in special FX makeup at 16 trained my
eye long before I ever touched aesthetics. You
learn
to
study
faces
obsessively—bone
structure, symmetry, how light hits different
planes, and how the smallest
detail can completely change perception. In FX, the goal isn’t to mask a face, it’s to enhance or
transform it while keeping it believable. That discipline carried directly into facial aesthetics.
Today, I approach every face as a unique structure rather than a template. I think in layers,
proportions, and balance, always asking: What belongs on this face? rather than What trend am I
applying? FX also taught me restraint—knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing what
to add. Ultimately, that creative foundation shaped my philosophy: results should look intentional,
harmonious, and natural, not “done.”
4. WITH SO MANY NEW TREATMENTS ENTERING
THE MARKET, WHAT GUIDES YOUR DECISION TO
INTRODUCE AN INNOVATION INTO YOUR
CLINIC?
“With so many new treatments entering the market,
my decision to introduce an innovation into the
clinic is guided first and foremost by full regulatory
approval. Any treatment must be approved by the
appropriate authorities (FDA, CE, MHRA) and
comply
fully
with
licensing,
insurance,
and
professional requirements.
I am not someone who jumps on trends. I prefer to
observe how a new treatment performs within the
industry over time, allowing space for real-world
data, peer experience, and scientific evidence to
emerge. A solid understanding of the treatment’s
mechanism, healing process, safety profile, and
longevity of results is essential before I would
consider offering it to my clients.
While evidence and regulation are critical, I would
be lying if I said instinct and experience didn’t also
play a role. Years in this industry have taught me to
trust my professional judgement, particularly when
it comes to knowing my target audience. I listen
closely to my clients and aim to deliver treatments
that
genuinely
align
with
their
needs
and
expectations.
That said, managing expectations has become
increasingly challenging. In my opinion, around 70%
of today’s aesthetic climate is shaped by unrealistic
expectations, largely driven by social media and,
more recently, AI-generated imagery. This makes
honest consultation and patient education more
important than ever.
Finally, safety is non-negotiable. Recovery time and reversibility are crucial factors for me. If I cannot
confidently manage complications or treat an emergency situation associated with a procedure, it simply
will not be offered in my clinic.“
5. BEYOND THE CLINIC AND ACCOLADES, WHAT KEEPS YOU GROUNDED AND FULFILLED?
“Honestly, my family keeps me grounded. It’s the quiet, human moments that bring me the most fulfillment—
sitting with my favourite book series (Zodiac Academy, no judgment allowed), long walks with my three crazy
sausage dogs, and making time to slow down.
Weight training keeps me strong, both physically and mentally, so I can stay active and keep up with life as a
busy mum of two. I have a 12-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old son, and I place enormous value on
maintaining a close, bonded relationship with both of them. I make a conscious effort to be present at school
pick-up for my daughter, knowing how challenging these formative years can be for teenage girls in today’s
climate. Being there when it matters most is incredibly important to me.
My son, who has Down syndrome, keeps me constantly on my toes—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. He
brings joy, perspective, and a reminder of what truly matters.
For my own wellbeing, date nights with my husband and coffee catch-ups with my girls are non-negotiables.
Balance and fulfillment are essential to me—life is far too short, and I want to be fully present for the people
and moments that matter most.“

A TRUSTED PHARMACY SUPPORTING
THE UK AESTHETIC INDUSTRY
Valley Pharmacy Aesthetics is an independent pharmacy based in Liverpool, located at 77 Hartsbourne
Avenue, L25 1RS. Over the past six months, the pharmacy has rapidly expanded into the aesthetics sector,
supplying practitioners with the essential products they need to run safe, compliant and successful clinics.
With a comprehensive range of aesthetic products, Valley Pharmacy Aesthetics supports practitioners with
everything from prescription-only toxins and weight loss treatments to dermal fillers and polynucleotides.
Their growing catalogue is designed to meet the practical, day-to-day needs of aesthetic professionals.
The brand was founded by Callum, a pharmacist with around six years of experience and three years
working directly within aesthetics, alongside the pharmacy’s owner, Sanjay. The idea for Valley Pharmacy
Aesthetics was born from first-hand experience. When Callum began offering aesthetic treatments within
the pharmacy, he encountered how complex and risky the ordering process could be. Navigating suppliers
felt like a minefield, with the growing presence of black-market products posing serious safety concerns.
Recognising how crucial it is for practitioners to order from a GPhC-registered pharmacy, Valley Pharmacy
Aesthetics was created to offer both peace of mind and affordability. While legitimate sourcing often
comes at a high cost, the team pride themselves on keeping prices competitive and continuously reviewing
them to make aesthetics more accessible without compromising safety or quality.
So far, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Day by day, more practitioners and prescribers are
signing up locally, with an impressive 95% of orders coming from repeat customers — a strong indicator of
trust, reliability and satisfaction.
In exciting news, Valley Pharmacy Aesthetics is now expanding its delivery service across the UK.
Previously supplying only the local Liverpool area, the pharmacy now offers next-day delivery nationwide,
making safe and licensed aesthetic products more accessible than ever.
To welcome new customers, Valley Pharmacy Aesthetics is offering 10% off your first order when you sign
up at www.valleyaesthetics.co.uk/register using the code firstorder1.

A N E W E R A O F I N T E N T I O N A L B E A U T Y
BEAUTY TIPS &
TRENDS FOR 2026
Beauty in 2026 is no longer about
excess. This year marks a clear
shift towards refinement, purpose,
and results that feel authentic
rather
than
overdone.
Across
skincare, aesthetics, wellness, and
branding, the industry is embracing
a more thoughtful approach — one
that values longevity, education,
and individuality.
Skin Health Takes the Lead
Healthy skin has become the ultimate beauty goal.
In 2026, glowing, resilient skin speaks louder than
heavy
makeup
or
dramatic
transformations.
Clients are investing in routines and treatments
that strengthen the skin barrier, improve texture,
and support long-term skin health rather than
short-term fixes.
Clinics and brands are responding with more
personalised
skincare
plans,
combining
professional treatments with homecare education.
The focus is no longer on chasing trends, but on
understanding the skin and supporting it properly
over time.
gradual enhancements are becoming the norm,
allowing results to build naturally. This approach
not only delivers better outcomes but also
strengthens trust between practitioner and client.
The Rise of Subtle Enhancement
Aesthetic treatments continue to evolve, with
subtle, balanced results now firmly in demand.
Clients want to look refreshed, not altered — and
practitioners are placing greater emphasis on
facial harmony and restraint.
Micro-dosing, tailored treatment plans, and
Longevity Over Quick Fixes
2026 is the year of preventative beauty. Younger
clients are entering clinics earlier, not to reverse
ageing, but to slow it down. Collagen-stimulating
treatments, skin maintenance, and lifestyle-led
beauty choices are shaping long-term strategies
rather than reactive solutions.
Beauty is being reframed as an ongoing journey —
one that evolves with age, lifestyle, and skin needs.
15
Technology Meets Simplicity
Innovation remains a key driver, but with a softer
touch. Non-invasive treatments, low-downtime
devices, and advanced skin technologies are
allowing clinics to deliver impressive results
without compromising comfort or daily life.
Clients are increasingly drawn to treatments that
fit seamlessly into busy schedules while still
offering visible, lasting improvement.
Education Becomes the New Luxury
In 2026, knowledge is power — and education is
one of the most valuable offerings in the beauty
industry. Clients are no longer impressed by
buzzwords alone; they want to understand the
treatments they’re investing in, the products
they’re using, and the professionals they’re
trusting.
Clinics and brands that take the time to educate
are standing out. Consultations are becoming more
detailed,
content
more
informative,
and
communication more transparent. This shift not
only improves results, but builds stronger, longer-
lasting client relationships rooted in trust.
Beauty, Wellness & Balance
Beauty and wellness are now deeply connected. In
2026, the most forward-thinking brands and clinics
are taking a holistic approach — supporting skin
health
through
sleep,
nutrition,
stress
management, and overall wellbeing.
This shift reflects a broader understanding that
confidence and beauty don’t come from aesthetics
alone, but from balance and self-care.
Authenticity in the Digital Space
Social media is changing too. Over-polished
content is giving way to education, transparency,
and real stories. Audiences are connecting with
brands that show expertise, personality, and
honesty rather than perfection.
In 2026, visibility comes from trust, not trends.
Brands With Purpose Take Centre Stage
Purpose-led brands are defining beauty in 2026.
Consumers are gravitating towards businesses that
stand
for
something
—
whether
that’s
sustainability,
inclusivity,
ethical
practice,
or
community impact.
It’s no longer just about what a brand sells, but
why it exists. Brands that communicate their story,
values, and mission clearly are creating deeper
connections and long-term loyalty. In a crowded
market, purpose has become the differentiator.
The Beauty Industry Grows Up
it’s clear that beauty is becoming more intentional,
ethical, and informed. This year is about raising
standards, embracing innovation thoughtfully, and
helping clients feel confident in their own skin —
not chasing unrealistic ideals.
2026 isn’t louder. It’s smarter, calmer, and more
considered — and the industry is better for it.

SUSTAINABILITY
HOW CONSCIOUS BEAUTY IS SHAPING THE FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRY
WITH PURPOSE
Sustainability has become one of the most defining forces
in modern beauty — not as a passing trend, but as a
fundamental shift in how brands operate, innovate and
connect with their audiences. As we move through 2026,
the beauty industry is increasingly driven by values as
much as visuals, with eco-conscious practices now woven
into the fabric of brand identity.
Today’s
consumers
are
informed,
intentional
and
demanding more than ever before. They want products
that perform, but also brands that align with their ethics —
from
environmental
responsibility
to
transparency,
cruelty-free standards and long-term impact.
Beauty Goes Beyond Skin Deep
The eco-friendly beauty movement has grown into a
powerful industry-wide evolution. Brands are rethinking
every stage of production — from ingredient sourcing and
formulation
to
packaging
and
delivery
—
with
sustainability at the forefront.
Refill systems, recyclable materials and minimal packaging
designs are becoming the new norm. Waterless formulas,
multi-use products and streamlined ingredient lists are
reducing waste while improving performance. This new
generation of beauty proves that sustainability and luxury
are no longer opposing concepts — they coexist
seamlessly.
Rather than offering quick fixes, brands are investing in
longevity, quality and smarter innovation.
18
Ethical Beauty as a Non-Negotiable
Cruelty-free beauty is no longer a “nice to have” — it
is
an
expectation.
Ethical
responsibility
now
stretches far beyond animal testing to include fair
labour practices, responsibly sourced ingredients
and transparent supply chains.
Consumers are looking closely at how brands
operate behind the scenes. Certifications, honest
communication and ethical accountability have
become essential trust markers. In response,
leading brands are opening up conversations about
how products are made, who makes them, and the
values guiding every decision.
This transparency is redefining credibility within the
beauty space.
The Brands Leading Green Beauty Forward
The brands shaping the future of green beauty are
those willing to lead with intention. These pioneers
are embedding sustainability into their long-term
strategies — investing in renewable energy, carbon-
neutral initiatives and environmentally responsible
manufacturing.
What sets these brands apart is their commitment
to progress, not perfection. They understand that
sustainability is an ongoing journey, and they invite
consumers to be part of that evolution through
education, awareness and shared responsibility.
By placing purpose at the heart of their growth,
these brands are redefining success within the
industry.
The Future of Beauty Is Conscious
As sustainability continues to shape the industry,
one thing is clear: conscious beauty is here to stay.
In 2026 and beyond, beauty will be measured not
only by results, but by responsibility, integrity and
impact.
This new era of beauty is thoughtful, informed and
purpose-led — proving that doing good and looking
good can, and should, go hand in hand.
Where Beauty Goes From Here
As
the
beauty
industry
moves
forward,
sustainability is no longer a future goal — it is a
present responsibility. In 2026, the conversation
has shifted beyond trends and marketing language
to real action, transparency and long-term impact.
Consumers are no longer just buying products;
they are investing in values, ethics and purpose.
Sustainable beauty is also driving creativity. The
industry is embracing new technologies, refill
systems and eco-conscious design, proving that
responsible choices can elevate both function and
aesthetics.
Rather
than
limiting
innovation,
sustainability is pushing the industry to evolve in
exciting and meaningful ways.
Looking ahead, the future of beauty is rooted in
balance — where results, ethics and environmental
responsibility exist side by side. Sustainability will
no longer be a selling point; it will be the standard.
As the industry continues to grow, the brands
leading the way will be those that place purpose at
the heart of everything they do.
Because in the next era of beauty, caring for the
planet is just as important as caring for the skin.

Behind every medical journey is a personal story — hope, fear, courage, and the search for trust. This free e-
book was created from a place of genuine curiosity and care, driven by a desire to truly understand why so
many people choose Poland for medical treatment abroad.
Agnieszka Szczegielniak, CEO of Med Travel Connect, went beyond surface-level statistics. She dug deeper,
personally interviewing patients, listening to their experiences, and exploring the real reasons behind their
decisions. Through academic research and meaningful conversations, she uncovered what matters most to
people when their health — and often their confidence — is on the line.
Drawing on her extensive experience in the UK healthcare and business sectors, Agnieszka combined
scientific research, real patient voices, and first-hand insight to create an evidence-based study that feels
both informative and deeply human.
Inside this e-book, you’ll discover:
· Why patients place their trust in Poland’s high EU healthcare standards
· How highly qualified specialists and advanced technologies change lives
· What patients truly value when choosing care abroad — safety, affordability, dignity, and reassurance
· Honest findings from real people who have taken this journey
This is not marketing hype. It’s research with purpose, created to help you feel informed, reassured, and
confident in your decisions.
