We often say RUTE wasn’t just a business decision — it was an

evolution.

For years, we built separately. Kara in medical aesthetics, Paris in

hair. Two different industries that actually share the same core —

confidence.

Eventually, we realised something simple: why were we doing this

apart when our visions were already aligned?

That’s how RUTE was born.

Two Careers. One Standard.

I’m Kara — an Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber, and I’ve worked in

aesthetics for over 12 years. My career has always been grounded

in clinical integrity and subtle, full-face harmonisation. I’m proud

to be Faculty for Vivacy UK and Jalupro, where I educate medical

professionals nationally, and I work closely with Acre Pharmacy

to deliver industry education.

For me, aesthetics has never been about trends. It’s about

refinement. Longevity. Safety. Raising standards

And I’m Paris. I started my business at 21 years old, and I’ve now

been in the hair and beauty industry for almost 20 years. I built

my salon from instinct, hard work, and a genuine love of

transformation. Hair has the power to completely shift how a

woman feels — and I’ve always been obsessed with that detail.

Where Kara is clinical and methodical, I’m creative and intuitive.

But our standard? It’s identical.

Why We Merged

We both had successful businesses. Loyal clients. Strong reputations.

But our clients overlapped constantly. They would leave the clinic and walk straight into the salon — or vice versa. The

conversations were the same: confidence, identity, subtle transformation.

It started to feel fragmented.

We realised modern beauty shouldn’t be separated. Facial balance, skin quality, and hair design all work together. When you look at

someone holistically, the results are elevated.

So we made the decision to merge — not because we had to, but because we knew we could build something stronger together.

Letting go of our individual brands wasn’t easy. We had both invested years building them.

But being sisters changes the dynamic. There’s inherent trust. There’s honesty. There’s no ego in the room — just alignment.

We’re very different personalities. One of us leads with data and structure. The other leads with instinct and creativity. That

“I started as an aesthetic practitioner and absolutely loved it. For five

years, I built a really successful client base. But during that time,

The Founder Behind the Brand

Rava Smiles was founded by Puneh Niroomand, a medical

biochemist, mum of two, and wife of a celebrity cosmetic

BUFFED COSMETICS

We are now into our second year of business. We

sell high quality Make up Brushes & tools to

students, pro Muas and make up enthusiasts.

Our products were designed by myself with over

18 years' experience as a Mua and educator and

our main focus of the business is educating

students/Muas how to use them. They are made

from premium synthetic fibres and have been

rigorously tested.

As an Mua carrying out make up masterclasses in

colleges I noticed that the tools students were

using were not fit for purpose. That is how my

brand was born. I want to ensure students have

the correct tools which are shaped to help them

learn and to also ensure they have a worthy kit to

apply for jobs in industry.

Our products have been featured in magazines such as Hair & Beauty magazine and Warpaint mag. They have

also been used by top Muas such as Buster Knight (Millie Bobbie Browns Mua) & Lan Nguyen Grealis who is

well known in the industry.

They have also been used at London Fashion Week, Leicester Fashion Week and West Yorkshire Fashion Week

2025.

We had the pleasure of working with various colleges last year incl Leeds, Tyne Met and Bishop Auckland who

all used our brushes. We got some great feedback on the products. Along with the products we are offering

free education for students which has been very successful.
